Poster Contest

Know any budding artists? MOREnet Security is sponsoring a poster contest to help promote security awareness and National Cyber Security Awareness Month. Kids 18 and under with an artistic bent (or without — we’re network security people, not art critics) can send poster submissions to MOREnet Security. Posters should be no larger than 8.5 by 11 inches and have a security theme. Send digitally created posters to security@more.net. Take a digital photograph of hand-drawn posters and send the file to security@more.net. If a digital file isn't available, send the original artwork to MOREnet Security, 3212 LeMone Industrial Blvd., Columbia, MO 65201. Note: Submissions will not be returned.

A panel of experts (we’re staying mum on what they’re experts in) will judge the entries and select the five best. The five finalists’ submissions will be posted at sam.more.net/poster. Viewers can vote on their favorite. The top vote-getter will receive an MP3 player.

The deadline for entries is Friday, Oct. 13, 2006. Online voting will be held until Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006.
